Privacy Policy

This policy covers the FormFiller browser extension and the formfillerapp.com website. The short version: the extension does not collect, transmit, or sell any of your data.

The FormFiller extension

FormFiller runs entirely inside your browser. It has no accounts, no servers, and makes no network requests.

  • Page content. To detect and fill forms, the extension reads the form fields on the pages you visit (names, labels, placeholders, and input types). This happens on your device and nothing is sent anywhere.
  • Generated data. The values filled into forms are fake and are generated locally on your device.
  • Saved forms. If you save a form configuration, it is stored locally in your browser, together with the address of the page it belongs to.
  • Settings. Your keyboard shortcuts are kept in your browser's extension storage. If you have sync turned on in your browser, your browser may sync them between your own devices.
  • Usage counter. The extension keeps a local count of how many forms you have filled, only to decide when to show a one-time review prompt. It never leaves your device.

We have no access to any of this. Uninstalling the extension removes the data it stored.

Permissions

  • Access to web pages — to find and fill forms on the page you are on.
  • Storage — to keep your saved forms and settings on your device.
  • Context menus — to add the fill options to the right-click menu.

This website

  • Analytics. We use Umami, a privacy-focused analytics service, to count page views and clicks on the install buttons. It does not use cookies and does not identify individual visitors.
  • Contact form. If you send a message through the contact page, the name, email, and message you enter are delivered to us by Web3Forms. We use them only to reply to you.
  • Free tools. The generators on this site run in your browser. The data they produce is fake and is not sent to us.
  • Hosting. The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes standard request information such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site.

Sharing and selling data

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with third parties beyond the service providers named above.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new date.
